Services subject to airport charges

Services being the subject of airport charges consist of standard and additional services.

Standard services include:
  • making Warsaw Chopin Airport facilities and systems available for aircraft landingand take-off operations, their maintenance and for standard services provided by airport units in connection therewith;
  • the provision and maintenance of Warsaw Chopin Airport facilities and systems connected with processing of departing, arriving and transfer passengers in order for them to commence, complete or continue their air travel as well as related standard services provided by airport units in connection therewith, including standard security services and passenger and baggage screning;
  • the provision and maintenance of aircraft parking space on the apron of Warsaw Chopin Airport and standard services provided by airport units in connection therewith.
Additional services include:
  • securing of aircraft refueling or defueling using the Warsaw Chopin Airport Fire Brigade fire fighting vehicle;
  • additional securing of an aircraft during its parking at Warsaw Chopin Airport by a guard from the service responsible for airport security.
Services mentioned above do not include ground handling.

For standard and additional services the airport charges apply.

The scope and standards of services are specified in the Warsaw Chopin Airport Operations Manual (INOP-EPWA), Rules of Use of Warsaw Chopin Airport, as well as detailed manuals and procedures available to airport users as appropriate.
