Direct connections to Morocco and to two airports in the capital of Great Britain - these are just some of the proposals in the new winter timetable, which is valid at Warsaw Chopin Airport.
Winter season news at Chopin Airport
On October 31, a connection to London Gatwick airport will be launched. The new route means return to Warsaw of a British carrier EasyJet, after few years of absence. The British line launched its connections on the first day of the winter season, i.e. October 28: to Geneva, Basel and Berlin Tegel.

Also from October 31, thanks to Wizz Air , you will be able to fly to the exotic Marrakech. The Hungarian carrier has also already launched a connection to Vienna, and LOT - from December 29 - will start flights to Turin.

In January, Polish Airlines will also commence regular flights to London City. Thus, you can already fly from Warsaw airport to four airports of the capital of Great Britain.

What are the other changes that will take place in winter at Chopin Airport? First of all, it is worth emphasizing the increase by LOT and Turkish Airlines of the number of connections on the route Warsaw - Istanbul. The Polish carrier will increase the number of flights from 5 to 12 a week, while Turkish airlines from November 3rd will offer an additional sixth rotation, serviced by wide-body Airbus A330, every Saturday.

An interesting proposition for passengers traveling from Warsaw airport is also made by Qatar Airways. The Qatari airlines, form October 28, 2018, have changed the A320 aircraft previously used for evening connections for a larger and more modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner. In addition, the number of flights to Doha will increase - from 14 to 16 a week. On Mondays and Fridays you will be able to fly to the Qatari capital three times a day. On these days, the Arab carrier will use an additional Airbus A330 to this route.

In total, in winter of 2018/2019 Warsaw Chopin Airport will offer 114 regular and 40 charter routes.
