Nearly 5 million people were handled at Warsaw Chopin Airport from January to the end of April 2018. This is an increase of 14.8 percent compared to the previous year. Over 4 million passengers travelled in international traffic.
Nearly 5 million passengers at Warsaw Chopin Airport
The capital airport month in a month records further increases. In April 2018 alone, 1.3 million travelers were handled at Warsaw Chopin Airport. It is 14.8 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.

There is a particularly visible 20% increase (compared to 2017) in the international flight segment. In the first four months of the current year, 4.2 million passengers travelled in international traffic (513.4 thousand in domestic traffic).

In the first four months of 2018, a total of 4.8 million passengers used the services of Warsaw Chopin Airport.

- All these data indicate that the position of the Warsaw airport as an attractive transfer point in this part of Europe is clearly increasing - says Hubert Wojciechowski, Director of Marketing and PR Office at Chopin Airport. - For now, our predictions, which assumed that at least 1 million passengers will be handled each month are also confirmed.
