More than 1.7 million passengers handled in July
The first month of the holidays brought another record of the Warsaw airport. In July, the passenger and air traffic statistics were not only better than last year, but it was also the best month in the airport’s history. Never before in the 83-year history of the airport more than 1.7 million passengers have been handled during one month.

Growth is a result of very favorable conditions in the international and domestic traffic. In the international traffic, the airport has handled 7.4 million passengers (+19.7% compared to 2016) since the beginning of the year. In domestic traffic, during the first seven months, the port has handled 1.2 million passengers - 68% more than last year. In total, the port has handled 8.6 million people - 24.7% more than a year ago.
