Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity plays at Chopin Airport again
On 4 July volunteers of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity appeared at Chopin Airport for the second time this year. The money donated by the passengers will be used to support residents of the flooded areas.
Between 10:00 and 19:00 eight volunteers of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity dressed in specially designed t-shirts collected donations at the airport terminal while the Orchestra played 350 concerts around the country. The money collected in the first weekend of July will be used to provide the flooded municipalities with professional equipment to overcome the effects of the flood, now or in the future. Pumps and dryers bought with the money raised by the charity will be delivered to those who need them most this year.
