Chopin Airport in a new light

On Monday 5 July, new Chopin Airport neon signs were lit up at the Terminal. Just after 9.30 pm, Director of ‘Polish Airports’ States Enterprise Michał Marzec turned on the power to illuminate the signs.

The neon signs were installed on the front wall of the Terminal and on its side, opposite the access road to departures. The event was one in a series of steps to introduce the airport’s new name (‘Chopin Airport’), registered in January 2010.
