PPL to upgrade Chopin Airport Terminal
‘Polish Airports’ State Enterprise (PPL), the operator of Chopin Airport, has issued a tender to select a general contractor for a major refurbishment of the old part of the terminal. Zone AB (former Terminal 1) will be closed right after the end of the UEFA EURO 2012 tournament.

'Polish Airports' State Enterprise to take over security screening at Chopin Airport
Chief of the Border Guards “Nadwiślanski” Division, Lt. Col. Mariusz Piętka, and general director of ‘Polish Airports’ State Enterprise (PPL), Michał Marzec, have signed an agreement concerning new security control arrangements at Chopin Airport. As of September 2012 all responsibilities related to security screening will be taken over by the airport operator, with the Border Guards overseeing the entire process.
